About the presentation: I will share current efforts to reduce human-wildlife conflict associated with carnivores in northeast Washington including current research and pilot projects.
About the presenter: Candace Bennett is a Wildlife Conflict Specialist with Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife since 2013 working with gray wolves, cougar, bear, and large ungulates. Candace received her MSc examining how coyotes, wolves, and people used the landscape in northeast Washington from Eastern Washington University. She has also spent time in Namibia, Africa where there was human-wildlife conflict with desert African lions, desert adapted African bush elephants, and black rhino.
